Golden Mustard Salmon | Turmeric is the key

I love salmon! I try to eat salmon as much as possible for many reasons, but mainly for it's health benefits and because it's the yummiest fish out there (in my opinion)! Many of my clients are always asking how to switch up ordinary salmon and add a twist to it. Here's how you make it different-- lather it in a delicious Turmeric mustard glaze and let it slow cook in the oven for about 20 minutes.

This salmon couldn't be more scrumptious, nutritious with a scoop of Turmeric (which helps with inflammation, as well as a whole other list of benefits), and it's pretty too! Try your salmon a new way tonight. You are welcome, my lovely friend.

Golden Mustard Salmon

Prep time: 5 minutes

Inactive time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 20 minutes

Total time: 40 minutes

Yields: 4 servings

Ingredients:

4 (about 1.5 pounds) Salmon fillets

1 tablespoon yellow mustard

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon mayonnaise

1 teaspoon Turmeric

1/2 teaspoon honey

1 tablespoon lemon juice, plus more for serving

Salt and Pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

In a small bowl, combine both mustards, mayo, Turmeric, honey, and lemon juice, until fully combined.

Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, on both sides. Evenly coat both sides of all salmon fillets with the mustard glaze. Allow glazed salmons to chill in the fridge for at least 15 minutes.

Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until fully cooked through. Serve hot and squeeze extra lemon juice on top or serve with lemon on the side.
