Cheddar Chive Biscuits

Red Lobster's Cheddar Biscuits are legendary, but I don't want to have to go there every time I want some yummy cheddar biscuits. So, I took it upon myself and made my own version- bamn! Now I can enjoy this cheesy goodness in the comfort of my own home, on my own couch, and in my comfy pajamas. So cheers to the freak'n weekend! xo

Here are the ingredients you'll need to make the biscuits.

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, and salt. Using a fork or your hands, combine and work the butter into the flour until it resembles a course meal.

Add the cheddar cheese and chives. Slowly add the buttermilk, stirring with a fork or your hands, until the dough comes together.

Drop 2 tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet and form into a round biscuit shape. Continue adding 2 tablespoons of dough per biscuit, until all biscuits are formed. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, about 13-15 minutes.

Meanwhile, whisk together butter, parsley, and garlic in a small bowl. Brush the biscuits with the garlic butter and serve immediately. Biscuits are best warm and fresh out the kitchen. Slab some butter on these biscuits and treat yourself.
