Buffalo Chicken Dip | Add Spice & Keep it Fresh

Football season is here! That's right, Summer has come and gone and my Sunday's are about to turn into a bunch of boys sitting on the couch watching hours and hours of football. Don't get me wrong I'll watch from time to time, but I'll most likely be in the kitchen whipping up delicious easy football centric recipes for the boys... and I (oh you don't think I'm getting in on the action) to devour.

However, instead of sitting on the couch every Sunday watching football, I like to spice things up and keep it fresh. I'll take advantage of having new taste testers and test a bunch of recipes on the hungry boys or treat myself to a matinee movie or meet the girls for lunch! When life becomes too predictable and planned out, you can fall into a rut. So I try to add some spice into my days and surprise myself with different activities. And even Corey and I, when it comes to date night we go through our list of new restaurants we've been wanting to try, make a reservation, and surprise ourselves with a new culinary adventure- keeps it fun and exciting!

Just like with this Buffalo chicken dip, you add the hot sauce to spice things up and finely slice celery to keep it fresh at the same time. A little spiciness and freshness in everyday life will take you a long way. Be sure to add this bad boy to your wheel of Football recipes and your Sunday Football will be taken to a whole new level.

This recipe is as easy and quick as 1-2-3. Here's what you'll need! Measure everything out and chopped your celery. This recipe calls for canned chicken breasts, it looks just like tuna fish, but with chicken instead!

Preheat your oven to 350'F degrees.

In a small saucepan, melt cream cheese over medium-high heat, whisking often, about 3 minutes.

Add the ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, and hot sauce, whisk to combine. Stir in canned chicken and chopped celery (if using). Bring to a soft boil.

Pour the buffalo chicken mixture into a small baking dish. You can use 1”inch Quart baking dish or dish that can hold about 4 cups. Sprinkle the top with crumbled blue cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden and bubbling.

**This is important- make sure you allow the dip to cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving in order for it to solidify and not be as liquidly. Serve with chips or veggies and enjoy!

*** If you are having a lot of people over, you can easily just double the recipe!
